Making A New Career Decision

I have been a stay at home Mom for the past 11 years and find myself in a position were the kids are in school for the full day and I now have more time on my hands.  So, I’ve decided to rejoin the work force.  But this time it’s going to be different – I’m done with the 9-5 Corporate America Stuff, where your boss calls all the shots and gainfully reaps all the rewards.   I  think why not take all that energy and focus it’s going to take to learn a new career and apply it to something that will benefit me and my family in more of a direct way.  So for the past year I have been looking into Internet Marketing.  It appeals to me on several levels, I particularly am interested in the fact that I can do this from my home or any other location of my choice.  I decide my own schedule and it lends itself to having flexibility so that I can work at my kids’ school, spend an afternoon with my parents or run errands in the middle of the day.  I will have complete control over how much money I make, and know the outcome of my professional future is directly related to the kind of foundation I build now.

Finding A Mentor

During the past year, when I was doing my due diligence, I noticed that trying to self teach was going to be much harder then I thought.    With learning from the ground up sometimes it’s hard to know exactly were the ground starts.  Everybody seemed to have the magic solution, or the latest, greatest thing that you needed to effectively make it in the business.  And with statistics showing  that the internet is now a big factor when people make purchases or obtain information checking the web is almost second nature when people need something -  I want to successfully be apart of that.  I am a firm believer in having mentors, so after months of studying I knew that I needed to find a coach and start building my foundation to a long lasting career.   That’s when I joined Alex Jeffreys Coaching Program and have never looked back.  His passion and patience are a welcome change and knowing that he’s in my corner and is willing to be their for the successes and failures and do all he can  to help me to reach my goals .  His expertise in this arena is exactly what I need to live the life I dream.  I realize that taking Action is the driving force to this whole equation, but sometimes the hardest.   I get overwhelmed with learning new things at times just like anybody else, but i know that learning these important steps will get me to were I want to go.
